Demetrios Dounis praised the expansion of its portfolio company All American Label & Packaging (AALP)/Western Shield on its acquisition of Lotus Labels.

Following the March 2022 merger between AALP and Western Shield, the emergent AALP/Western Shield has continued to use mergers and acquisitions for expansion. In February 2023, the industry news organization Label & Narrow Web reported that AALP/Western had merged with Lotus Labels.

Lotus Labels manufactures pressure-sensitive prime labels and offers packaging solutions in the health and beauty sectors. AALP/Western Shield regards its acquisition of Lotus Labels as a key path to expansion into new market segments and geographical regions. Agreeing with this sentiment, the founder of Lotus Labels, George Wu, reveals that his company evaluated several market opportunities before determining that AALP/Western Shield stood apart in terms of sales and operational synergy.
