• About Demetrios Dounis

    A Rutgers University alumnus, Demetrios Dounis holds a bachelor of science in accounting, which he earned from the institution in 2000 after being active in the Beta Alpha Psi (national accounting) and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternities. In addition, Demetrios Dounis has a master’s degree in business administration from Chicago Booth, where he specialized in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and finance.

    While pursuing his master's degree, he served as the co-chair of the Private Equity/Venture Capital Group and was also elected a cohort class agent. After earning his undergraduate degree, Mr. Dounis served as a senior accountant at Deloitte, where he performed audit and attestation planning and other services while working with large clients, such as Morgan Stanley and Schwaab Capital Markets.

    Since 2007, Mr. Dounis has been a partner at a private equity firm, where he oversees the private equity investment process while sitting on the board of directors for Clean Earth (prior lead), Velocity Outdoor Inc. and Arnold Magnetic Technologies. He is also actively involved with several professional organizations, such as the Association for Capital Growth (New York Chapter).
